Things to check before placing a service call:

PROBLEMS YOU MAY COME ACROSS:

IN WINTER

• Not heating properly - check the following



•  -dirty air filter
•  -Check thermostat setting
•  -something blocking outside unit air intake
•  -window left open
•  -doors closed between conditioned area and return air grille



• Steam coming off machine as machine goes into defrost cycle. (Has smokey apprearance.)



• IN SUMMER:
• Not cooling properly - check the following:
•  -dirty air filter
•  -Check thermostat setting
•  -something blocking outside unit air intake
•  -window left open
•  -doors closed between conditioned area and return air grille



• ALL YEAR ROUND:


May make a noise when starting and stopping, this is normal.
